The atlas cedar is very undemanding in its location, only damp locations that tend to waterlogging should be avoided.
It also copes well with heavy frosts down to -30C.
Even prolonged drought is tolerated without problems.
The tree species is very well suited for valuable wood production.
The atlas cedar grows mainly in a treetop shape and forms solid trunks.
All in all a very nice new tree species in our forests.
