The trumpet tree Catalpa bignonioides is a native of North Americar 15-20 meters high tree with a broadly arched, round crown, the trunk is usually short and thick. In dense forests, however, it forms long trunks.
As for the location, it is quite undemanding. It prefers a sunny to partially shaded location. Prefers fresh and fertile soils. But also tolerates drought very well, urban climate-proof.
Very good bee pasture.
